I never open attachments, unless the body of the email explains in sufficient detail what is there and it is from someone I trust. I can add that I haven't opened an email attachment in about 2 months. Before that I would have to go back at least 6 months. I open about 1 in a 100 I suppose. In any case, it _does_ remain on your hard drive waiting to be activated and in that sense you are infected and the utility I mentioned will still have something to remove. This is what I think the utility did for me. However, I can't be 100% certain that I did not somehow activate it, hence my post here. The consequence of my being wrong makes my doing otherwise unwise.
