I think there are still lots of people who do not use the null-move. I do not use it at the moment, but I have experimented with it several times in the past and will probably try it again. Among the top programmers, I am almost 100% sure that Richard Lang, Ed Schroder and Johan de Koning do not use the null-move. I also suspect that Marty Hirsch doesn't use it, but I am less certain about this. Tord
