would some of you post only 2 or three of your favorite test positions here. I am not referring to all these tests that are posted here, where all the programs are solving in seconds. I would like a collection from the chess program enthusiasts here. 1. A test position that you know that some programs can find a certain move when other programs cannot. 2. A test position that we know is a mate in a few moves but some programs cannot find. 2. A test position that you know humans can see when programs cannot. 3. A test position that you know will fill the hash, works the program, and after considerable time some programs will fail high or solve for mate. 4. Not any of the complete test suites, I have most of those. 5. If 10 or 15 or these program position experts would post 2 or 3 each, this would be great. Even if some of these are out of test suites. 6. I know some of the people here have favorite test positions that are very good for what i want in a test position. also if you will, would you comment why your test position that you post is unique. I will gather all these and test. should be a good test suite in itself. thanks, kburcham
