(hope that changes in 100 years ;) I assume you need something with a GUI? Otherwise I don't see what you mean with "simple". The cygwin-distribution (http://www.cygwin.com) is free and contains gcc. Needed space is approx 50MB (depending on what you install, can be much more than 50MB) But it doesn't have a GUI. Sargon
