You cannot imagine how many suggestions from this group HAVE been put into
Chessmaster. I would say that there would be dozens, at least.

Auto232, however, is an obscure feature, even for most people on this group. I
would venture to say that less than 0.1% of the people who buy Chessmaster have
even heard of it. When a feature, at best, is going to be used by 1/1000th of
users, it gets put on the back-burner in favor of other features.

However, several other intrepid users have found that it is, in fact, rather
easy to use Auto232 with Chessmaster:

www.chesskit.com/aarontay/Winboard/auto232.htm

And the Chessmaster 8000 FAQ also covers this question in detail:

www.chessmaster.com/faqs8000.html

So, while we have not implemented Auto232 support directly, we certainly have
not ignored those people who want do use it.
