You miss the point.  The ICCA charter says that the WCCC event _must_
alternate between Europe and North America.   It isn't a "suggestion".  It
is a _requirement_.

I see no reason why North American participants have to travel every three
years.  Watch this pattern:

Austria (1974)
Toronto (1977)
(somewhere in Europe) 1980.
New York (1983)
Cologne Germany (1986)
Alberta Canada (1989)
1992 back to Europe and it has been there ever
since.

It seems reasonable to expect Europeans to travel here once every six years,
and for us to travel there once every six years.  Anything else is both
garbage _and_ contrary to the very charter of the organization I was a charter
member of...
