Hi Joshua!

I also did that but the mega-book is not good for using it as an opening book. I
find it just very useful to find out quickly if I have games with a certain
position in this big base but not for using it in eng-eng-matches. There are
many games in the base which were played by players with a very low (or
no)rating.
My suggestion: Add ELO-rating to the games played up to 1970 and then create an
opening book with all games played with both players having >=2200. This will
give you a big book (>800000 games included) but you have at least a minimum of
confidence that there is not too much nonsense in it.... Never the less
automatic created books will always be inferior to tuned books.

Regards!

Peter
