I do not know about Rebel 6, but the Rebel website at:

http:\\www.rebel.nl

contains much information about R8 (vs predecessor(s)) and of R9 (vs R8).  And
now also re R10 vs R9...

also gives a Rebel-chronology of sorts and is interesting.

Also, the independent SSDF list based on c vs c games gives, on a Pentium 90
MHz, Rebel 9.0 an ELO rating of 2448 (+/- 29) and Rebel 7.0  2403 (+26,-25).
