The problem is that a normal crafty will not play the hxg move which opens the rook file 4-5 years ago we had a player named "mercilous" that used this to shred _every_ program on ICC. I added specific code for this and Crafty has not fallen for it in several years. If you were using the fritz gui, I believe it turns that off by default (the trojan check code) for reasons unknown. But recent versions don't allow this to be turned off, it is an automatic recognition feature.
