This final point was the main reason for Eduard's reaction. He read that in the
past as if _he_ must have done something wrong when you remarked that something
must have been wrong in the set-up. I think that Ed is so sensitive because he
also read or interpreted in the comments by other people, not you, that he might
finger all his games through take-backs. He however always stated that this
wasn't the case. Ed is primarily a good chessplayer and not his own propaganda
minister. Ed is one of very few people here who know how to play chess and he is
proud that he can present his tricks and findings to the whole world. Please
let's keep that in mind in case we want to smash his reasoning into the trash. I
think he has given us good material and we should thank him. All kind of irony
or even worse is wrong because Ed did never put on an air of importance about
his chessplay. He always said that he once had 2150 Elo which is in US surely
2250. So, he's no master, but also no patzer.
