Subject: New WinBoard compatible engine - ROBOKewlper 0.047a by Kevin Markman

Author: Benny Antonsson

Date: 06:08:37 07/13/02

We are hosting ROBOKewlper by Kevin Markman, USA at Alarms homepage.
It can be downloaded from the bottom of the download section at:
http://www.codenet.se/alrm

Kevin is one of the youngest authors out there. 17 years old and already a chess
programmer is impressive.

He started the work of ROBOKewlper in January 2002 and uses C++ as programming
language. Its approximated playing strength is 1500 at blitz time controls but
it seems weaker at longer time controls though.

Known problems:
. It sometimes overthink and it might stay running a couple of minutes while
still thinking.
. The entire opening book (~50 mb) is loaded into memory.
