This is Bob Hyatt's Crafty 17.14 (which is a super fast searcher), compiled
with MSVC 6 with the Intel plug in with some of my pet changes:
They include :
modified time.c - a more aggressive use of time up front in all type of games -
blitz, tournament and increment
tweaked extensions - but not elaborate - check out the "bench"
standard 17.14 evaluation code - no changes here
this version is very good - some results:
Crafty v17.14 (1 cpus)
White(1): bench
Running benchmark. . .
Total nodes: 59824696
Raw nodes per second: 672187
Total elapsed time: 89
SMP time-to-ply measurement: 7.191011
White(1): test d:\crafty\positions\ccc.epd 2
