To summarize it, if you take Fritz 6.0 using and AMD 1200 Ghz and match it
against Fritz 7.0 using and AMD K6 450 Mhz after 100 games their score could end
up very closed, but there is something wrong  with these rating estimates for
the K6 450 Mhz.



PS: Sorry, I just realized that in the rating list of 2000 the difference
between Fritz 6.0 using an AMD K6 450 Mhz and in the latest rating list of 2002
using Fritz 7.0 with an AMD K6 450 Mhz is only 1.0 point. There has to be
something wrong with these estimates, since Chess programs are making a little
improvement in chess knowledge in the last two years, but only account for 50
rating poins at the most, now hardware is doubling and gaining 80 points rating
every year.
