Thanks for the info. Why 7.0.0.6 instead of 7.0.0.8 ? In my database of Blitz games (almost all 5/0) Fritz 7 is +54 Elo over Fritz 6e and that is with ratings vs various opponents so with different test we have almost the same result. Also I have not separated the different Fritz 7 versions. I called them all Fritz 7 and used the latest one when it became available. Jim
