Perhaps GCP read too much into the press release. Perhaps you are reading too
much into GCP's response.

I also think it is a tempest in a teapot. What are they going to say:
"We played the very best we had and lost fair and square. The best man won."

I think we should all try to separate the marketing stuff we see from the
reality. I can show you something crazy and offensive on each and every
computer chess program box.
Maybe the biggest problem is that people believe hype and will pick the box with
the most outrageous claims. So look at the data you choose and make informed
decisions based upon reliable information instead of what the chess companies
are forced to say to save their fearful skins.
