Read my other posts in this thread. I have said several times that I DO NOT
think that they would do such a thing. All I am saying is that it's not
impossible, that no one knows for sure, and people are getting upset about
something they don't even know to be true.

Hmm...maybe you could be more specific about what you are talking about. I see
nothing in that paragraph regarding the issue of whether or not Quest was the
best version of Fritz. What I do see is that Frans is (apparently) on record as
saying that he always uses his best, and that Frans (apparently) didn't have the
power to make the decisions he saw fit in the WCCC tournament. So if anything,
that discredits Frans' statement that he always uses the best, since it's
apparently someone else's call at Chessbase. As far as I know, we have no quotes
from anyone at Chessbase regarding this matter, so no one knows.

What is so hard about understanding that no one has hard evidence about what
happened or didn't happen? I don't think there's a chance they used an inferior
version, but I don't know that, so I'm not going to go around saying, "I know
100% for sure..." about something that I don't know 100% for sure about.
