Sometimes things are more or less obvious, and you have to be pretty naive to think otherwise. In this case it is a well known thick performed by Chessbase, and we talked about it before the tournament. I think the post from GCP was more a kind of "like we said they would do if Quest/Fritz didn't win" remark. Their marketing strategy is almost to be expected, there is a lot to lose for a branded program like Fritz and very little to gain, so who can really blame them. Besides there was clearly not enough games played to draw any conclusion about which program was the strongest, but the public would never understand that. >Russell -S.
