Deep Blue lost one match against Kasparov 2:4 and won another 3.5 to 2.5. This means nothing. But most people think that the match had prove (!) that computers play better chess than humans. Today after five (5!) years we notice that the battle between humans and computers is still undecided (although there is no doubt who'll win this battle in the long run).
