I just wanted to know if anyone had ever actually heard it from someone reliable that Quest was the "best" version of Fritz currently available. Then everyone just kind of ignored that question and started in on, "Why would Chessbasd do something like that?" and ignored my question. Granted the question was just pickiness on my part, but it annoyed me that no one addressed the question and instead just made statements like, "I know 100% what happened" and "No way Chessbase would ever do that" when they hadn't heard that from anyone reliable and just based it upon what a person with common sense would do. All you have to do is watch TV for half an hour and you'll get plenty of examples of companies that made stupid marketing decisions in choosing some ridiculous commercial. My question was picky, but it wasn't beyond the realm of possibility. If nothing else, they all have us talking about it. Sometimes bad publicity is better than no publicity. In any case, Gian-Carlo says he was 99.99% sure he heard Frans say it, so that's good enough for me. Russell
