Subject: Test Set Gauntlet

Here i am working hard trying to give you people all the testsets problems that
aren't solved within 90 minutes , the positions that would be atleast as hard as
the nolot positions. The resoning behind 90 minutes is that of the programs i
have they mostly were solving the "Easier" Nolot positions within that time
frame.

I have about 600 that aren't solved in 90 minutes by Fritz 7
It is an extreemly slow process and if anyone want's to help they might try
emailing me.
About 2800 are solved in under 60 seconds on an athlon 1Ghz
I am testing 416 that were supposedly solved in under 3 minutes, some won't be
solved in 90 minutes of these and some will be solved within a few seconds.
that's over 1200 problems to be run at 10 minutes each.

I will need to test for about 8 straight days to weed ones out that may be
solved in under 10 minutes with Fritz 7 and then a few days more than that for
doing the same at 30 minutes a pop. At that point i might wait untill i get
something twice as fast as my computer to where i can also use 512MB for Hash
Tables or 1GB or more, this depends on what i can afford. Right now the 2200+ is
showing results twice as fast as my comp so this might be what i go for unless
the 2Ghz Athlon's come out (2500+)

There is another set i was going to include but i have a really good feeling the
Ozmits positions are for the most part full of incorrect solutions that's a set
from over 3000 that i got down to between 500-600 problems.

If nobody here is interested then tell me so and i will stop what i am doing. I
was hoping to get the response that this is a good thing i was doing for
computer chess for one it will say which test set positions are either as tough
as the nolot ones or which problems are incorrect. I don't mean to put people
off but it just seems that hardly anyone responds to my posts about this.

I hope this captivates some intrest as i wanted to do this it would help Dan
Corbit for instance were he can look at the problems at that point and see which
ones might have the incorrect solution etc.
