The ICCA has serious issues, but I think you are wrong.  Please see my sibling
post in this thread for more details.

If you are going to butt heads directly with the ICCA, I am less likely to
attend, because I could easily come to believe that you were a nut and aren't
going to get anything done.

If you have enough political sense to find a (big!) niche and fit in, this will
stand a better chance of happening and leaving everyone with a good impression.

You don't need to take over the world yet, the North American continent should
be good enough.  There is a serious *void* there, we need a NACCC.  There is not
a "world championship" void.
