I'd prefer 40/1 or G/90.

In November there will be the WCCC in Graz/Austria, therefore: "as early as
 possible", probably in July?

If a sponsor covered the airfare I guess there would be about 15-25
programs from overseas.

Probably more important than airfare would be fast machines. It's hard
to bring your own computer by plane if you plan to have a holiday after the
tournament.
