Already Junior7 was the world champion. And do not forget: the difference between Junior7 and the engine that played at Maastricht might be smaller than you can imagine. The same thing can be said about Shredder6, Fritz and so on. If you follow the WCCC-moves with the programs available, you will be able to reproduce at least 95 % of the moves played at WCCC. Kurt
