Bruce, finally, I think I understand what some of the programmers want and that
is not always fully compatible with the wishes of the viewing audience.
Anyway, ultimately your idea has merit in several areas, that of a social
event with top programmers, intellectual exchange of ideas, philosophies,
and techniques in programming, and other benefits of one-on-one discovery
and communication. This plan works better for you programmers.
When will Ferret compete again? Have you made significant improvements
in ELO or techniques? I have been curious about this for some time.
