I purchased Rebel for DOS years ago. I remember waiting and waiting for the Windows version, which had been promised. Finally, I made a promise to myself. I promised myself that I would never purchase another Rebel again, whether it was Windows or not. I don't know how long it was until Rebel windows finally came out, but it must have been more than a year, maybe two. I have kept my promise.
