I don't want to open my program (ferret) to automatic unrated standard challenges, because I'll get games with 1600-rated players that take well over an hour to complete. I'd be happy to manually accept a challenge from you, at whatever time control you'd like, if you want to test a program you wrote yourself. Just try to get my attention via tells somehow, bearing in mind that I'm not watching my program very often. If you don't want to play against the Alpha, let me know, and you can play Mink, which is ferret on a p6/200. bruce
