Of course you can >put whatever you want in the net - no need to make sure it runs on my computer. >:) And there's no doubt you understand something about design. I agree HTML and >design don't go well together. On the other hand, the never was the idea of HTML >in the first place. That's ok i can understand why some people go for compatability over the trouble of downloading a plugin just to be able to watch a webpage and i wish it was different, but as it is now there is no other alternative, when you choose Flash as your way of expression. I have always been a creative person, and in order to have that creative "control" Flash is perfect for that + it is vector based, which means that you can actually make a full webpage with all the bells and whistles and then some, that is smaller than an average html page with 5 kb of code! this is why it is the future of web design and when i say webdesign i mean just that, the html protocol will always be there in one form or another. Also when you visit a Flash page no matter how big it is ie. 15 Mb, then once it is loaded even on a 14 Kb/s modem, then it will load in an instant the next time you visit it, which make the possibilities endless. I like the minimalistic approach of html coding and have seen some wonderful pages in pure html and i will make a mirror of my webpage in html when i get around to it, however html will always be static and limiting in a creative sense, unless you want to use java and that is about the ugliest choice from a design point of view + that will bring you more greif than the "please go here to download the latest plugin..." :)) >Btw: Did you compose the music yourself? I sometimes had your old page open just >because of the background music. :) No i did not compose the music myself, altough if i had the time i could make it myself, that's why i use loops that are there for free, if i was in doubt if i could do it myself, i wouldn't other peoples work, but it is a big time saver :) >Sargon (who will shut up next time :) No please don't, ALL opinions count! BTW Macromedia and Opera have made a deal that will see full flashplayer integration in their next release of Opera, to read the story go here: http://www.opera.com/pressreleases/en/2002/07/20020702.html Regards Jonas
