It's a shame you got caught up in the Peter vs. Pete fiasco, Kevin. In
re-reading the posts from Pete, Peter, and David W. - well, it was very, very
strange. Quite the example of Ben Franklin's sage pronoucement:

"Nature's harsh, life is short, and people are ridiculous."

I'm sure your e-mailer thinks that Edmonton couldn't have two guys who both were
CCC'ers, and wanted to also help arrange a CC tournament, so you must be Peter
S.

I believe in light of this email, the tournament should be made an invitational,
and the emailer promising to ruin the event should NOT be allowed entry to the
event.

I do hope you pass this situation along to your replacement - it's something he
should know. I see no obligation whatsoever on your part to protect this guy.

In dealing with the public, I have found this bit of wisdom, somewhat
comforting:

You really only have TWO things to worry about -
Either you're going to live or you're gonna die -
If you live - you got nothin' to worry about!
If you die - then you only have TWO things to worry about -
Either you're going to heaven or your're going to hell -
If you get to heaven - you got nothin' to worry about!
If you go to hell - well -
You'll be too busy shaking hands with all your friends to worry anyways! <grin>

Thanks for all your work and ideas on this, Kevin.

Regards,

David
