Your detective work really isn't conclusive here at all: according to Google _very_ many people have problems spelling that word. I wasted two hours, too, to do some searches about either Strickland,Skinner or Wilkes, curious after all that fuzz, but wasn't successful to find anything about them in real life. I tend to be paranoid about similarities in spelling, too btw - and yes, there is something that very much reminds me of Mr Evans from rgcc, but seriously, that is all most likely bullshit. Fooling off. Bruce Moreland has checked the facts about Skinner and asked some serious questions. It's a pity that it suddenly turned out to be an American-Europe conflict for no good reason with harsh words , something I only know from the CTF forum in general. Maybe Russell will get now that Andrew Williams wasn't critical about an American event at all, but about the integrity of Mr Strickland. I am very sure that really _all_ readers of CCC would love to see a computerchess championship take place in one of the Americas. Peter
