I asked if a bad opening book was better than no opening book. I don't know why you think it's funny that I asked a serious question. I've never made an opening book, never even attempted to make one, and had very little knowledge about them. I was just looking for some information that I did not know. People think that anytime anyone asks a "beginner" question that they're trolling, but it's not the case. I'm working on my first chess engine, so I have beginner questions. If that bothers you, or if you're above answering beginner questions, then don't read my posts. Russell
