Hi Uri,

a WCCC is a sportier competiton whose sense is not to get significant results
(not different here from a soccer world championship).
For the spectators it means a lot of fun to watch the games live or follow them
in the internet. During a game for example first one think white was winning but
hours later the opposite happens... a game with one second per side though was
not really interesting to watch. :)
Also for the programmers the WCCC offers a good opportunity to show their new
program to potential future customers.
In my eyes there is no reason to change the WCCC.
