Acknowledgements
CBASCII, and the other ChessBase utilities I am working on, is based on the
trailblazing work done by Horst Aurisch in decoding the ChessBase format. This
must have been no mean feat, as ChessBase decided, in their infinite wisdom, to
encrypt the data as much as possible. Not only was this stupid, but it also
means that any work on the game data is slowed as it has to be decrypted before
it can be accessed! Also thanks to Anjo Anjewierden for his work on decoding the
comment mechanism used in ChessBase games.

Thanks to Steve J. Edwards for his work on the PGN standard
