I got it to work some time ago, but I don't remember if I used the noname driver from the chess232 disk or the auto232 driver that comes with CSTal ... Possibly I did Ctrl+0 and then Ctrl+9 to let it play with white ... If you get stuck trying, I could maybe reinstall CSTal (which I deleted on all machines) and try to help you get it going.
