Ed, I tried to replicate some of the analysis results posted on the Rebel Home Page foe Rebel XP. I downloaded the RXP test position database and used Rebel XP for few of the analysis positions. Unfortunately I cannot seem to recreate any of the solutions posted at your website with the analysis engine. For example, for the Botvinnik-Ba3! position, the website claims to solve the position in 1:24 with RXP; I cannot get that solution even after 3 minutes. Instead Rebel XP recommends 1. h4. Another example would be the position BS2830-..o-o! After 4 minutes of analysis on my pentium 4 1,8GHZ machine, Rebel XP recommends Qe7 instead of o-o with a black score of -2.xx. What am I doing wrong? Any clarification would be appreciated. Also, if any of the other CCC members have replicated the your website posting results, I would like to hear from them. Ed Manicka
