While installing some of the service packs for Fritz 7, I've seen the odd statement here and there regarding updates to the engine itself. Has anyone done any testing between the minor versions of Fritz 7? i.e. between 7.0.0.1 and 7.0.0.8 (maybe I've got the numbering wrong?!). Any comp matches? Or test positions? Failing that, what's your gut feeling about the updates in terms of strength? Any significant improvement? Nothing noticable? I've only just updated to the latest and not had much time mucking about with it. For the one or two positions I have compared, I've noticed the latest to be slower - but, of course, this says nothing in itself. thanks Gordon
