In my opinion I think that ED Shroeder has solved some Major Problems in Computer Chess Programming in His latest Program RebelXP. RebelXP appears To Understand when it's king is being attacked Much better then other Programs, I use as an example the below game which was Played in 1999, the game Was between a Uscf 2265 rated Master and Hiarcs6 running on a Cyrix 233, the Human Managed to Crush Hiarcs mercilessly in 19 moves!! Over the Years I have used this game as a benchmark for predicting the Skill of various new programs, none seemed to understand the position as well as Rebelxp.
