I didn't need a bookpath setting. But I have the book files in the Crafty folder, and "book on" in the crafty.rc file. This seems to be sufficient too. Actually I'm not even sure if the xboard parameter is necessary... I use it, following recommendations I read somewhere. I use it in winboard.ini, too. Regards, M.Scheidl
