Hi Tom:
I am not sure If I must or not answer your question, maybe even you are kidding,
but just in case your or other guy seriuosly think in it, let me explain:
a) bruce does not need a prize to do this: I believe it is enough good for him
the chance to play a GM. If I am mistaken, Bruce has the word...
b) Bruce does not need to perform an special effort, just to push the buttons to
enter the moves. If I am mistaken...
c) The prize for Ivan is more a kind of simbol than a real one. It's just to
give him a kind of little  incentive in order he feel this is a serious thing.
For that, just a bit of money is enough. Probably the same sychological
mechanism is behind the people that expend 1000 bucks going to a tournament  and
are very worried about 150 in prizes.
d) finally, my budget for chess prizes, chess programs, chess boards, chess etc,
 is exhausted, sorry.
e) of course we are ready to accept contributions
