How do you assume the SSDF and many others that post here do it?

Naturally you can, assuming the program comes with autoplayer support.
Chessmaster for example doesn't although it is possible with some manipulation.

Other interfaces Chessbase, Shredder and Genius 6 all have autoplayer support.
Winboard can also be autoplayed with Remi's autoplayer.

Again set engines, set time controls, check com ports, set one as master the
other as slave click ok on the slave then the master.
