Hi...

I'm an intermediate player, yet I have some questions I cannot find answers to
as to the scoring and listing of players on crosstables etc. For example, in
this tournament:

ch-SVK Kaskady SVK  2002

                              1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 1 2
1   Sutovsky,E    2660   +79  * ½ ½ ½ ½ 1 1 ½ 1 1 1 1   8.5/11
2   Landa,K       2623   +76  ½ * 0 ½ ½ 1 ½ 1 1 1 1 1   8.0/11
3   Romanishin,O  2571   +94  ½ 1 * 0 1 ½ ½ 1 ½ 1 ½ 1   7.5/11
4   Khenkin,I     2587    +6  ½ ½ 1 * ½ 0 ½ 1 ½ 0 1 1   6.5/11  34.00
5   Ftacnik,L     2576   +18  ½ ½ 0 ½ * ½ ½ ½ 1 1 ½ 1   6.5/11  30.50
6   Movsesian,S   2624   -33  0 0 ½ 1 ½ * 1 ½ 1 0 1 1   6.5/11  30.25
7   Stohl,I       2550   -18  0 ½ ½ ½ ½ 0 * ½ 1 ½ 1 ½   5.5/11  25.75
8   Markos,J      2467   +72  ½ 0 0 0 ½ ½ ½ * 1 1 1 ½   5.5/11  23.75
9   Plachetka,J   2441   -35  0 0 ½ ½ 0 0 0 0 * 1 ½ 1   3.5/11
10  Mrva,Mart     2426   -57  0 0 0 1 0 1 ½ 0 0 * ½ 0   3.0/11
11  Priehoda,V    2425   -99  0 0 ½ 0 ½ 0 0 0 ½ ½ * ½   2.5/11  11.50
12  Tibensky,R    2448  -124  0 0 0 0 0 0 ½ ½ 0 1 ½ *   2.5/11  9.75

Average elo: 2533 <=> Category: 12
gm = 6.60 m = 4.40

1) Can someone explain what the +/- numbers after the player ratings mean, how
they're calculated, and what they are called?

2) Can someone explain what the decimal numbers after the X.X/Y at the end stand
for, what they're called, and how they are calculated?

If the calculations are too involved, an explanation isn't necessary- I just
want to know what these things stand for, so I can interpret what the statistics
chessbase generates for my own games mean!

Thanks to all for any help...
