Subject: Is Palm M105 good enough?

I have no experiences of handheld computers. Is the relatively cheap Palm M105
good enough for playing chess? Or is it very difficult to look at pieces with
the monochrome screen?  Are there any good chessprograms for free? Any comments?
Any good links for the subject? Thanks in advance.
