I believe that computers are still behind humans at tournament time controls. At time controls slower than tournament computer do far better but that is where it stops. Wait until Kramnik absolutely destroys Fritz in October then you will see what I mean. There is little doubt that Kramnik is going to win the match. The only question now is by how much he will win. You can take a 500 MHZ computer onto ICC and play < 15 mins per side against only humans and do very well. Extend that time control to >90 mins per side and you will easily see the difference. Try it and you will see what I mean. Computers are getting there. They are not there now though.
