I don't see how making sure your system comes with a powerful cooler requires
that you be an expert in hardware... (and i am talking ordinary aircooling here)

The post you refer to hardly qualifies AMD as having trouble with overheating,
it is as i understand it the "old" atlons mentioned in that post+ the extra heat
of summertime, although one poster says that his XP 1500+ in a hot room runs at
55 degrees, but that is perfectly normal summer or not.

The best way to ensure that your system comes with a powerful (enough and then
some) cooler is to spend the extra 10-20$ for the top model cooler and have it
shipped with that instead of the one they sell it with originally, i am sure you
can ask the seller to install it for you for no extra charge.
