A notice I read on-line stated it will:
1) Enhance security
2) Allow the user to remove parts of Windows2000 as required by the
anti-trust court ruling. (Specifically, Explorer)
3) Install an automatic upgrade feature to Windows2000 - MS has been rapped
on the knuckles for making a security fix, but not getting the word out
effectively to the end users, so they don't get their OS fixes.
All the details will be up on the MS page next week. I wouldn't install it until
you get a chance to read over their info MOST carefully.
I believe I read this on eweek, but I'm not sure.
