Subject: Mate in 11?

Author: John Merlino

I remember that some people here occasionally ask for long forced mate positions
from real games. Here is a position from a game that I played with Chessmaster
9000 on ICC today:

[D]rnb1k2r/pppp3p/6q1/7Q/8/8/PP2BKPP/R1B4R w kq - 0 14

The King announces Mate in 11 in 3:30 on my humble PIII-600:

I expect somebody with faster hardware can do better.
