The first one I bought was the CC7 which was 1979 (23 years ago), so maybe you
are a bit out on the years, I don't know.

Yep, I remember that too. It's funny, but even though the latest PC programs are
probably at least 1,000 elo points stronger, they don't seem to generate quite
the same excitement, but maybe that's because I'm getting older.
