Hi all: In the first place, thanks to all the guys that does not thinks I am in disgrace due to this sad fact of Morovic stuff. I did my best but simple I have not a gun to put it in the chest of this kid. Second: I did not act prematurely; I asked several times Ivan if he was sure whe was going to play and the answer was "yes" once and again. Only then I posted here, etc. Third: as far as I know the problems of Ivan are real, not fake. Even more, when he knew that other people here was offering more money, he was really excited, after all he is a pro and chess pros that are not in the first 10 top league are not rich people, BUT his wife simple did not let him just to come my home to play ches between 4 to 6 hours or more after a full evening looking for a flat. Shje see him scarcely here in Santiago and she thought it was too much. Ivan is in his first or so year of marriage so he does not know yet how to control thses things... :-) Fourth: if beside there was a component of panic in his soul only God know and i dont think it is fair to accuse him of getting cold feet. Maybe he did, but we must suspend judgment until september. Five. I contacted in due moment ICC people to suspend this, so Bruce may stay calm about this, i did not let the people there just waiting.. I understand some hopes were created and proportionally to that, some dissapointment appeared as a result; me too I got offset and I was in the very fringe to insult the bastard, but of course we cannot behave like children that get mad because mummy did not buy the toy they wanted when they wanted. Sometime we forget that people has a complete life vbesides playing chess. Nevertheless, I am very sorry specially for Bruce, I understand his feelings and the only thing I can tell him is that mid september is not very far and if this time Ivan say no again, I, personally, in the name of all people here, i will smash his face in the good old style of motorcycle people.
