I did not think my conclusions were off base here at all. I had a similar thing happen in a privet match to with GM A. Ivanov. I asked him if he would play Chessgenius 5 some games at 10 10 time controls. He said ok but at a slower time control of 30 30. We played 1 or 2 games a day and Chessgenius 5 was killing him. After a few games GM Ivanov finally got Chessgenius 5 on the ropes with a pawn advantage in the middle game. But Chessgenius 5 out played him and was going to win the game. GM Ivanov instead of losing the game or resigning just quit. He would not talk to me or finish the game. I finally had to ask GM Roman to give the win to Chessgenius 5, as he was the only one who could do this when playing a grandmaster on chessnet. He gave me the win. So I know first hand how Grandmasters act when faced with playing a strong computer. That’s why I think the world of IM Commons. He is the exception to the rule.
