I was saddened to hear about the Morovic vs. Ferret debacle. Without a decent financial incentive it is proving difficult to attract strong GM's to play slow time limit matches against strong micros. I would personally like to pledge $100 for every game that a GM can win in a 6 game 40/2 match against Ferret or one of the other top six programs. Of course I will also pledge $100 to the programmer(s) for every win their program can score. If enough people will follow suit I'm sure we can interest a strong GM to tackle one of the better micros. My only stipulation is that the match must be 40/2 and atleast 6 games in duration.
