On my relatively humble PIII-733, CM9000 did not announce a mate in over 30 minutes, and I didn't have more CPU time to devote to the problem. Maybe I'll let it run overnight on Monday (on my slower PIII-600, unfortunately). There was a VERY long fail high on d6 at depth 14 that took up most of the time.
